Similitudes - 3 butterflies

“I have used similitudes.” - Hosea 12:10
“This because those who reject "I AM" follow vanities, while
those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord: thus does
"I AM" set forth for men their lessons by similitudes.” - Sura 47:3

I have been teaching our children emotional self-control and about the difference between the human (flesh) and the being (spirit).

The other day our 3 children climbed onto the back seat of the car. They noticed 3 butterflies at the back window and they asked me what it meant.

The metamorphosis a butterfly undergoes is symbolic of the spiritual evolution that all Christians must go through.  Butterflies represent rebirth and a new beginning.

The caterpillar symbolizes the human body that has Earth-bands; - sin, and sloth and depression, distrust, fear- all that hinders the Risen Life;  whilst the butterfly symbolizes  the Spirit -beauty,  holiness,  joy,  peace,  work inspired by Love and Joy.

The 3 butterflies were therefore a similitude of the 3 children that are learning to rise from death (human) to Life (Spirit)

Luke 9:23 And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water (human) and then is born (later) from above as his spirit-"Being" (his REAL self which is NOT human), he can NOT enter into the Kingdom of God (Who is a Spirit-"Being").

3:6 That which is born of the flesh is human; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit (a spirit-"Being") - (a human+Being).
